Everest Gokyo Lake Trek is an incredible trip with superb attractions. The trek is renowned as the alternative EBC trekking due to the remarkable natural sceneries, Lakes and glaciers and the hidden Sherpa valleys. Trek to the Gokyo valley is strenuous due to the altitude it gains and the route we follow. Trekkers should always feel that acclimatization is necessary for the Gokyo trek.

The Gokyo Lake Trek begins from the Lukla airstrip and head above the Dudh Koshi Valley. Some steel bridges should be crossed over the River and gorge before entering to the Sagarmatha National Park. It is a home of endangered flora and fauna. Reaching Namche Bazaar, you take a side trip to the Khumjung valley. Namche Bazaar is a market center for the people of the Khumbu region. Khumjung valley represents the features of the Sherpa people that have monasteries and Chhortens.   Walking to Phortse, you continually climb to the Gokyo valley passing the Longpongo Tso and Ramboche Tso. Gokyo valley is beautifully situated beside the Dudh Pokhari. You also hike to the Gokyo Ri, from where you can get the perfect views of Mt. Everest, Makalu, Cho-Oyu, Gyachung, Lhotse, Nuptse and others along with the longest glacier of Nepal- the Ngozumba glacier. If it becomes possible, you can trek to the fifth and sixth lake as well.
