Nepal Cultural, Historical and Natural Tour

Namaste and welcome to Nepal. After your arrival, Kathmandu, Vertex Holiday’s airport representative receives you at the airport and transfer to the hotel. After getting refreshed, we give you a short briefing and orientation by our tour leaders. The evening is wonderful with dinner with the Nepali cultural program. Overnight at the hotel.

Take optional mountain flight in the morning to view Mount Everest and other Himalayan ranges. For more details, you have to read down in the optional program.

After breakfast at the hotel, set out for the sightseeing tour in Kathmandu, these include UNESCO listed world heritage sites. Kathmandu is a city of temples and medieval arts and architecture. There is Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square in Kathmandu. However, there are in total of seven world heritage sites in the Kathmandu valley. Then we drive back to the hotel and rest. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, we drive to the Chitwan National Park. It takes about 3-4 hours through the winding road in the beginning and through the flat road once we reach to the low land region. Then we transfer to the hotel. In the evening we recommend a short walk through the Tharu village. Overnight at the hotel.

This is one of the refreshing day and a busy day. We begin our jungle activities after breakfast. Elephant back jungle safari, canoe ride, jungle walk, bird watching, and other activities are available. Chitwan National Park is a home of various endangered animals and plants. Royal Bengal Tiger and one-horned rhino are some of the prime attractions in this park including Ghoral, deer, and others. The local and migratory birds can be found there. We join the Tharu cultural program in the evening, which could be done on the earlier day. Tharu is one of the indigenous groups of Nepal, who has different customs, foods, costumes and social celebrations. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, we drive to Lumbini. It takes about four hours to reach at the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Even there are indigenous communities near Lumbini square. Lumbini is one of the world heritage sites of UNESCO. Refresh at the hotel and know the history of Lumbini. It is a world popular Buddhist pilgrimage destination.

Lumbini sightseeing is incredible. The Mayadevi temple, Puskarini Pool, garden. Museums, monasteries of different countries are there. We can visit many pilgrimages, from various countries. It is a heaven of Buddhists. Spending a very spectacular time, we return back to the hotel.

From Lumbini, we drive to the tourist town of Pokhara. Through the winding road, we drive for 6 hours and reach Pokhara. Walking throughout the lakeside city is fabulous. Overnight at the hotel.

Early in the morning, we drive to Sarangkot for the sunrise view over the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, Himchuli and other peaks. Sarangkot is also one of the best paragliding sites in the world. (Optional) You can go down to Pokhara by paragliding, which lands near the Phewa Lake. Then we drive to the hotel, have breakfast and set out for the Pokhara city sightseeing. Davis falls, Mahendra cave, world peace stupa and mountaineering museum are some of the popular sites for the sightseeing. We take a boat ride at the end and return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu. Enjoying the views of forests, hills, Rivers, and gorges, we arrive at Kathmandu in 6-8 hours. Then you transfer to the hotel. overnight at the hotel.
