It is best to be physically fit and in sound health before and after booking this trekking adventure, good exercise is needed to keep you in shape as this trek involves a steep climb and long descend.
Best in spring-time from March to May, as well in autumn/fall season which begins from September till November. The best season is April to May and September till November. Days are much clear for excellent views and scenic walks within beautiful landscapes facing high snow-capped peaks. It will be cold morning and in the late afternoon till night time as well in the shady areas. Can expect snow sometimes around high elevation above 2,500 m high with some light rain also.

The best is to carry a light portable solar panel that can fit on the back of day packs, where it can catch more day sun energy for use at the camp.
On this trek free from the hassle of catching altitude sickness or AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness). Where altitude gains gradually do not reach above 4,045 m high, the maximum height at Sing-La Pass. Each day walking and stopping overnights at a certain altitudes helps and supports to get acclimatize. Where walk leads high up and down, not staying much on higher altitude with a danger of getting AMS.
Chances are small, but wild-life do exist, like mountain antelopes, snow leopard, fox, deer, and wild cats including the rare endangered Red Panda with many species of birds. Depends upon the area of walks and staying longer where animals can be spotted. If lucky can see some wild-life even Red Panda, but not all trekkers have the great chance to spot the wild animals on treks. It also depends upon the season as well, during winter times the animals migrate to lower hills and valleys, and in spring and summer move to higher mountainous areas for grazing.
