In the morning, drive on Nepal’s main highway with views of rolling green hills and valleys. It is dotted with farm villages and views of the snow-capped peaks as the drive reaches Kurintar en route to Manakamana Temple.
From the car park, a short ride on a cable car to Manakamana Temple, the goddess of fulfilling wishes.
Manakamana Temple is located at a distance of 135 k.m from Kathmandu and
12 k.m south of the historic town of Gorkha. It stands on a high green hill at 1,302 meters above the Trisuli and Marsyangdi River. It is one of the famous and popular pilgrimage spots where devotees from all over Nepal and India visit.

The road follows the bank of Kaligandaki River, as the drive leads towards the Kaligandaki River gorge. The drive climbs on winding roads to Lete and Kalapani village, facing superb views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Nilgiri’s peaks. Kalapani is situated amidst a beautiful forest of pines and rhododendron trees; from here, head towards the windswept terrains.
Then reaches Tukuche and Marpha villages, famous for their delicious apples with large orchards of apples and apricot trees. From here, the drive follows a gradual ascent to Jomsom, a huge town and the headquarters of the Mustang district.
