Pikey Peak trek is a short and easy hiking trail in the lower hilly regions of SoluKhumbu, encompassing various hilltops as panoramic viewpoints. A rather unexplored trekking destination, with a view of a wide range of Himalayas from Dhawalagiri on the west to Kanchanjunga on the east including Everest, makes the journey once in a lifetime worth a trip.
Pikey (pronounced PK) was formerly a pasture for the cattle and Yak to graze for the Sherpa community, and the peak was named after the deity of the local Sherpa clan. This place has a great spiritual significance as the local people visit the peak every year during the Monsoon season with a group of Lama Monks in order to conduct rituals and hang the prayer flags.
One of the Short treks in Nepal Pikey Peak Trek can explore Buddhist cultural monuments like Stupas, Chhortens, and Mani Walls, Prayer flags, and Prayer Wheels decorate the trail, whereas the mountain vistas, including Mount Everest, make it one of the best choices for beginner-level trekkers. Passing through the terrace farming villages, green lush Rhododendron forests, and Low Mountain passes, the Pikey Peak Trek offers travelers and trekkers the best holiday experience in Nepal.
Pikey Peak Trek can be a substitute trekking trip for those who are unable to trek to the high altitudes of the Everest Region, like Everest Base Camp just to be able to see Mount Everest. Vertex Holiday’s custom 7-day itinerary is a perfect choice for a comfortable trekking holiday experience in Nepal.
