Start the day early morning for Pokhara city, located a drive of 220 km / 136.05 miles, taking more than 5 hours. On route visit the famous temple of Mankamana, located on a high hill in the Gorkha district.

Across the Trisuli River, taking a short ride on a cable car, on reaching the place of Kurintar. Get in a small cabin a rope-way or a cable car to reach Mankamana Temple premises.

A short walk to the temple, witness many pilgrims from all around Nepal and as far from India visit for worship in this sacred Mankamana Temple.

Early morning before breakfast, transfer for the short drive to Sarankot hilltop, for stunning sunrise views over an array of Mid-West Himalayan peaks.

After a glorious morning with the spectacular scenery of high Himalayan peaks drives back to the hotel for breakfast. Getting ready for a long hour drive of more than 7 hours to Jomsom around the district of Mustang. A drive to cover 150 km / 93 miles distance.

The adventure begins heading west, on a nice smooth Baglung, Beni, and Pokhara Highway. A scenic ride with views of Annapurna Himalaya driving past the town of Kusma (a place with the world’s 2nd highest Bungee Jumping from a long suspension bridge).

The drive heads past Baglung town and then on off-road following the Kaligandaki River. As the journey continues to Tatopani a nice village with a natural hot spring.

On leaving Tatopani village then enter the Mustang district from Ghasa village, entering a cooler region with beautiful pine and rhododendron forest.

The drive follows through the world’s deepest gorge Kaligandaki River, sandwiched between Mt. Dhaulagiri and Mt. Annapurna. After a good ride heading past Kalopani, following the river upstream to Tukuche and Marpha. A gem of a village with white-washed paints and neat streets lined with shops and nice restaurants.

Morning ride for a few hours to Muktinath, the highest spot of the tour as the journey leads on a wide Kaligandaki River valley. On reaching Eklay Bhatti, drive heads uphill on dry and barren hills to Jharkot.

A steep drive leads to the top of the village of Rani-Pawa with many nice lodges and shops. From here short walk to Muktinath Temple premises, as you can feel a touch of altitude.

Climb on the steps to enter the Muktinath premises. First, take a wash or a bath on 108 holy water spouts, could be very cold. After getting dried visit the main Muktinath Temple to pray, worship and offer, and get blessed by the Hindu priest.

On completing the main religious rites and prayers, tour Jwala Mai monastery, the Goddess of Flame and fire. Inside the monastery enter the main prayer hall with statues of Lord Buddha and many other famous Gurus and saints.

Witness the miracle blue flame under the floor, as Muktinath areas are full of natural elements. After an exciting and pleasant time with prayers and worship, then drive down to Kaligandaki River valley to Pokhara for an overnight stop.

From the town of Beni drive on the smooth main highway to Pokhara. The ride leads past Kusma, and Nayapul, and then on winding uphill to Kande, and then downhill to Pokhara.

Finally the drive ends, on reaching Pokhara by the Phewa lakeside, check into a nice hotel. Rest of the day with time to enjoy exploring the shops and restaurants and pubs of Pokhara Lakeside.

Today is the last final day of the overland journey back to Kathmandu, a pleasant drive to Mugling for a possible lunch stop. The rest of the afternoon drive follows the Trisuli River upstream for some time.

Then leaving the low warm farm areas head up on the winding road to Nagdhunga, the entrance point of Kathmandu Valley and the city. The drive finally completes on reaching the city and then back to your respective hotels.

Rest of the day at leisure for individual activities for interested people who can visit to Pashupatinath. Where one can observe and get blessed with the interesting and exciting ritual of Arati the sacred flame.
